Cannonball Fun Run Rally and Car ShowSaturday, June 1st

Join ECCO (Elite Car Cruising Organization) in conjunction with Military Assistance Mission, Sanderson Ford and TriWest as they launch from Westgate Entertainment District on an epic journey through the state of Arizona on the 4th annual Cannonball Fun Run. An array of classic, exotic, hot rod and American muscle cars will launch from the Events Plaza near Jobing.com Arena at 8:30am to support and raise funds for local military families. The Cannonball Fun Run is a game rally with checkpoints and fun activities scheduled through the state route that ends in Flagstaff with an awards dinner and celebration. Spectators and their cars are welcome to join! Plus, enjoy special guest appearances by the Arizona Ghostbusters and their ECTO, Lightening McQueen and the Arizona Military Vehicle Club!

Nashville recording artist and Arizona native, Laura Walsh, is actively involved in the Southwest music scene. Debuting her brand new album, Take Your Time, Laura has been featured as a pre-show opener for Miranda Lambert and Sugarland. As a local regular, she is making a name for herself at such venues as Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, Handlebar J, Hard Rock Café, and Martini Ranch.
Her first single, Hit and Run, released in Spring 2011, gave listeners just a taste of the power of her voice and songwriting capabilities. Upon release of the full album, Take Your Time, in May 2012, Laura displays who she is: confident, positive, loving, and strong. Take Your Time represents a rite of passage for a young girl that is knocking on the door of greatness.

Not only does she sing great and have excellent command as a vocalist, but her lyric writing shows that she has learned the essence of what a good idea can bring to a song. Born and raised in Arizona, Casey is the middle son of Tammy and Ron Smith. Since an early age, Casey has been singing and playing instruments, from the guitar and piano to drums and banjo.
Casey is the 2010 Grand Prize Winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Competition for his single “Chasin’ Tin Cans.” The song is dedicated to the determination of barrel racers and to Casey’s grandma who still runs barrels at 74 years old.
